Pastor Tom started off the year with a word about expecting a Harvest this year, encouraging us all to reach out and share the good news of Jesus with everyone. Then, Compassion to Action let us know they are actively going to downtown Portland to pray and love on folks, then we heard fellow local church Athey Creek is doing a big PDX Crusade at the Moda Center August 2-3. Another group called Walk After Christ did a an outreach in Portland this last weekend. God is on the move! Matthew 9:37-38 “The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” ~ Jesus. We are planning a special spiritual equipping/coaching class to discover spiritual gifts, process through any past issues that might be hindering our future destiny, and have a dedicated mentor/prayer coach praying for you to get ready for this next season–it’s like a personal trainer for your spiritual growth. Hoping to start in just a few weeks – we will get it on the calendar. Very exciting! God is good!
